Car Crashes Head-On Into Freeway Sound Wall

Witnesses report the driver and passenger escaped with minor injuries.

Firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department's Engine 86 extinguished a car fire on the eastbound 101 freeway at the Tujunga offramp early Sunday morning, according to a Patch tipster.

According to reports, the white sedan had been swerving before crashing into the right shoulder sound wall and catching fire. A female driver and male passenger escaped the burning vehicle with minor injuries, according to witnesses.
