Man's Body Found in Tujunga Wash in Toluca Lake

The body was found inside a vehicle on its side.

A man was found dead Thursday morning in a vehicle in the Tujunga Wash in the Toluca Lake area, authorities said.

The body was discovered about 7:15 a.m. near the 4300 block of Vineland Avenue, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

The man, about 30 years of age, apparently was the driver of the vehicle, said California Highway Patrol Officer Jennifer Cassidy. His name was not immediately available.

Investigators were working to determine how the vehicle ended up on its side in the wash, which is near the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway.
