Family Fight Prompts LAPD Helicopter Response

One man is hospitalized and another is wanted by police after a physical altercation on the 8800 block of Remick Ave. in Sun Valley.

A fight in Sun Valley early Saturday between two family members who had been drinking led to one being hospitalized and another on the lam from police.

Officers responded to a disturbance call around 3:45 a.m. outside a house on the 8800 block of Remick Ave., said Sgt. Klaus Edgell of the Los Angeles Police Department's Foothill Station.

When an air unit arrived overhead, four people were seen running into the house, while another remained on the ground next to a parked car, Edgell said.

When officers arrived, they found the man on the ground "had gotten the short end of the fight" and the family member that beat him down had fled the scene, Edgell said.

The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition, while his assailant remained at large, Edgell said. Police have not yet released the wanted man's name.

He did not know exactly how the combatants were related or if the man who fled lived at the residence where the fight occurred.

Hi! Yes, something is definitely happening there. I've stopped by a few times in hopes of bumpingRead More into the new owner but I haven't been so lucky. I've left my business card with a few construction workers but no one has gotten back to me so far. From what the workers told me, it's going to be a new restaurant. Those are all the details I have for now, but I'll keep you posted as soon as I found out more. Thanks!
ok thank you

I'm ready to stick a bike lane in the middle of the produce aisle at Ralphs at this point.
