Good Samaritan Saves Trapped Man from Burning Car

The crash at Lankershim Boulevard and Webb Avenue happens around 4 a.m.

A man trapped in his burning car after a rollover crash in Sun Valley was saved Saturday by a good Samaritan who pulled over and used a fire extinguisher to douse the flames.

The crash at Lankershim Boulevard and Webb Avenue happened around 4 a.m., a Los Angeles police officer with the West Traffic Division said.

The apparently hit a pole and overturned, trapping the driver inside, an RMG News videographer at the scene said.

As the car started to burn, a woman who works for the city Department of Water and Power stopped, pulled an extinguisher from her department truck and snuffed out the fire, the photographer said.

The driver was taken to a hospital, he said.

Another driver may have fled the scene of the accident.

Dear tbs, Deon Coles black box is the worst tv show ever. Though it is hosted by a black man, it'sRead More a show based on pointing fun and rude Racist jokes directed toward black people. If there was a white host it would be considered racist but because a black man was appointed to be host , you might have figured we wouldn't be offended but we are and I can't speak for all but I feel like resist jokes aren't ok regardless of who is telling them and I would like tbs to take down this show or atleast change the points in the show ! -signed, Kalil Stimpson

First of all, Bill, a funniest new comic in LA NOT being gay would be news. In addition, being aRead More comedian myself, I can tell you most gay comedians are not as bigoted as you suggest.
