LAPD: Fatal Stabbing Victim Reentered Bar with Knife in Upper Body

No suspects have been identified by police.

A man was stabbed to death in North Hollywood, authorities said Monday.

Police were sent to a bar in the 12100 block of Vanowen Street at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, according to Los Angeles police Officer Rosario Herrera of the Media Relations office.

They found Daniel Farelo, 28, suffering from multiple stab wounds to his upper body.

According to police, Farelo walked outside to the rear of the tavern, then returned to the bar with several stab wounds and a knife still protruding from his upper body.

Paramedics were called, but he was declared dead at the scene.

A motive for the case was not available.
