Man, 79, With Dementia Reported Missing

He was last seen leaving his North Hollywood residence the day after Thanksgiving.

Police are asking for help in the search for a 79-year-old man with dementia who went missing Friday in North Hollywood.

Haum Ibrahim was last seen leaving his residence in the 13000 block of Burton Street around 6 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

His family is extremely worried about is well being, police said.

Ibrahim is described as a Middle-Eastern-looking male with white hair and brown eyes. He is 5 foot 5 and weighs about 160 pounds. He was wearing a gray sweater, green sweat pants and black dress shoes.

Anyone with information on Ibrahim’s whereabouts is asked to contact the LAPD Mission Division at (818) 838-9800. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (877-527-3247). Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477). Tipsters may also contact Crime Stoppers by texting to phone number 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone.
