A male was critically wounded Saturday night in a shooting in a parking lot on the campus of Los Angeles Valley College in the Valley Glen area, authorities said.

The shooting was reported at 7:30 p.m., according to Los Angeles County sheriff's Deputy Crystal Hernandez.

The victim -- whose name and age were being withheld -- was found in his truck in the parking lot at the intersection of Fulton Avenue and Burbank Boulevard and taken to a hospital, according to the sheriff's department.

It was unclear if the shooting investigation would be conducted by the Los Angeles Police Department of the sheriff's department, which patrols the county's community colleges, Hernandez said.

Oh for heaven.s sake. It says clearly that the person is critically injured and not dead. And since you feel the need to leave a comment and you don't seem to master the English language , at least try to master the the function of spell check.
