Man Shot by Glendale Officer Arrested in Hospital
Suspect David Santos, 18, is being treated for a gunshot wound to the torso.
A suspected gang member who was shot by an undercover Glendale police officer June 21 in North Hollywood while allegedly robbing a man on the street was arrested in the hospital Tuesday, the Glendale News-Press reported.
David Santos, 18, is being treated at a local hospital for a gunshot wound to the torso and was arrested in the alleged robbery. His suspected accomplice, Christopher Rosalio Morales, 21, was charged June 24 with nine felony counts of second-degree robbery, along with gun and gang allegations. It's unclear what Santos has been charged with.
Santos and Morales were allegedly seen robbing a man on a street by two undercover Glendale police officers who were in North Hollywood on an unrelated narcotics investigation. The officers intervened, at Sylvan Street and Colfax Avenue.
