Man Stabbed to Death in North Hollywood

There are no arrests and a motive for the crime is unknown, police say.

A man was stabbed to death in North Hollywood, authorities said Monday.

Police were sent to the 12100 block of Vanowen Street about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, said Los Angeles police Officer Rosario Herrera of the Media Relations office.

The man died at the scene, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter. His name was not immediately released. There were no arrests, Herrera said. A motive for the crime was unknown.
