Mountain Lion Spotted Roaming Sun Valley; Family Dog Disappears

The sighting has a family worried, though an animal expert says it isn't conclusive what kind of interaction the lion and the dog had, if any.

A 100-pound mountain lion was caught on tape roaming a Sun Valley neighborhood and a local homeowner is worried the sighting might have something to do with the disappearance of his dog, CBS2 reports.

The wild animal was caught on the home surveillance camera of Saro Tomasian on Friday on Hollywood Way just east of the Golden State (5) Freeway, according to CBS2.

After the sighting, the family's dog, a 75-pound boxer named Rocky, was reported missing.

However, one animal expert said he didn't see any evidence of a lion attack at Tomasian's home.
