No Injuries in Big Rig Crash on 5 South
Two cars collide with a truck, blocking all but one lane for about an hour.
A collision in Sun Valley Thursday between a big rig and two other vehicles, one of which overturned, blocked all but one lane of the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway and left one person with a minor injury, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident was reported about 4:45 a.m. just north of Sunland Boulevard, the CHP reported.
All lanes were reopened by about 6 a.m., said CHP Officer Francisco Villalobos. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
