Prosecutors will decide later whether to seek the death penalty against the three, who are also charged with one count of attempted second-degree robbery.

To date, the District Attorney's Office has not filed charges against three other people arrested in connection with the shooting. They had been identified earlier as Raymond Ramirez, 23, and Ruby Conchas, 20, both of Pasadena, and Ashley Monique Ceballos, 20, of North Hollywood. The status of any charges against a 17-year-old Pasadena boy who was taken into custody was not immediately known.

The investigation is continuing, according to Sandi Gibbons of the District Attorney's Office.
