North Hollywood Man, Woman Arrested in Connection with Killing in Pasadena

Six people are now in custody after the shooting of a 21-year-old man in broad daylight.

Pasadena police Thursday announced the arrest of three additional suspects—two gang members and a woman—in connection with a fatal shooting.

The arrests of Kevin Jessie Cabrera, 25, of North Hollywood, a gang member, Ashley Monique Cebaalos, 20, of North Hollywood and Peter Parra, 35, a Pasadena resident and gang member who was on parole, increased the number of people arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Zane Goldstein on Jan. 15 to six, according to Lt. Tracey Ibarra.

"The identification and ultimate arrest of these suspects was the result of several days of intensive efforts by Pasadena police detectives," said Pasadena Police Department Chief Phillip L. Sanchez.

"This crime was a complex investigation that required a tremendous amount of resources and focus, which underscores the dedication and talents of the involved detectives."

The three suspects arrested earlier in connection with the shooting at Chester and Maple streets at 2:10 p.m. on Jan. 15 were 23-year-old Raymond Ramirez, Ruby Conchas, 20, and a 17-year-old boy, whose name was not released because of his age. All are Pasadena residents.
