Police Chase Ends in North Hollywood

Officers were trying to stop a top-down convertible, which got up to speeds of 100-125 mph along the Ventura Freeway.

A 10-minute pursuit that had Los Angeles police and California Highway Patrol officers chasing down a white Mercedes convertible this morning on both sides of the 101 ended in North Hollywood.

Speeds reportedly got up to 100-125 mph.

Officers suspected the driver of the top-down Mercedes to be DUI, according to City News Service. The driver led officers first northbound and then southbound along the 101 at around 1:45 a.m.

The vehicle was intercepted in Toluca Lake on Riverside Drive at Cahuenga Boulevard in the North Hollywood area.
