Shooting Reported in North Hollywood Garage

It's unclear if anyone is barricaded at the scene.

UPDATE at 9:35 p.m.: A woman who fired shots from a gun in a garage in the 12000 block of Magnolia Boulevard, east of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, in North Hollywood has been taken into custody and is being questioned by detectives, says Sgt. Larry Poehls of the Los Angeles Police Department's North Hollywood Station.

No one was struck by the gunfire, which was reported at 5:56 p.m. It was unclear what alleged offense the woman would be booked for, Poehls says.

Police are investigating a possible shooting in a garage in the 12000 block of Magnolia Avenue, east of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, in North Hollywood, says Officer Nuria Vanegas of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

Officers have surrounded the location, but it's unclear if anyone is barricaded at the address, Vanegas says. The shooting was reported at 5:56 p.m., the officer says.
