Victim in Multi-Fatal Burbank Crash Laid to Rest in North Hollywood

Burbank residents are still reeling from a deadly crash last week that took the lives of five young adults.

Nineteen-year-old Malik Hariri, who was killed along with Stephen Stoll, Sebastian Forero, Sameer Nevarez and Sugey Cuevas, was laid to rest Friday at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park, NBC4 reports.

Hundreds of peoples attended the service.

"What you tell Malik, she smiles,” said Allie Hariri, Malik Hariri's father. “In school, in the house, everybody always says Malik smiles.”

The tragic accident happend around 4 a.m. on Sept. 27 near the Scott Road offramp on the Golden State (5) Freeway when the driver of the vehicle lost control and crashed into concrete.

There was one survivor, Savannah Underwood, who was released from the hospital with a broken leg, according to NBC4.
