Victim in North Hollywood Fatal Shooting Identified

Authorities Moday identified a young man who was killed in a drive-by shooting in the North Hollywood area.

Jordan Palomino, 19, of North Hollywood died at the scene of the shooting, which occurred about 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 7900 block of Beck Avenue, said coroner's Chief Craig Harvey.

Palomino was at the location when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside opened fire, said Los Angeles police spokesman Richard French. Police did not release a description of the suspect or vehicle, nor did they speculate on a motive for the crime.

@Stircrazy Everyone that is a victim of a gun violence with a latino name is not a gang-banger. Innocent people get killed from mistaken identity or whatever. Your comment before having any facts just highlights your ignorance which I'm sure was passed down from your parents.

There is NO way this could have happened. I think this is a lie due to the fact LA has super strict gun laws.(sarc) Condolences to the family. Unless it was stated he was a known gang banger..nobody has the right to judge. Hopefully the scumbag will get caught.

On 1-12-2014 a hero died and god gained an angel, that was my best friend jordy he never did anything to hurt anybody and he was not in a gang, he was one of the best skateboarders I've ever skated with and he would of eventually went pro, next time you open your mouth don't be so ignorant. Rest in paradise bud
