What Happened to the Local LAPD Facebook Page?

North Hollywood Division's page is down for now, but it will return with a few new features.

It appears the Facebook page for Los Angeles Police Department's North Hollywood Division has vanished without a trace, but that doesn't mean the trail has gone cold.

Garnering more than 16,000 likes through February, the page was a hub for crime alerts and anti-theft tips.

And in a few weeks, it's going to make a comeback with a few more features.

"The divisional Facebook page is being revamped to incorporate links for Business Watch and Neighborhood Watch Groups," said Sgt. Christopher Zine. "We are also attempting to have monthly video links with crime prevention tips, as well as a link for community announcements. The page will be down periodically during the next few weeks as we attempt to make these changes."
