East Valley High Football Team Perplexed at Sudden Dismissal of Coach

Arturo Williams had led the team since its inception three years ago.

Football players at East Valley High School in North Hollywood are perplexed at the sudden departure of their coach, Arturo Williams, according to KCAL.

Williams has led the team since its inception three years ago, but he and his entire staff were let go, and the school principal and the district neglected to give a reason, only saying it was a personnel matter, according to the report.

“He’s a very respectable guy. More than just a coach, he was almost a father figure to us, always telling us to do good, you know, on and off the field. He just doesn’t seem like the kind of guy that would do anything wrong,” Hector Ochoa, a player at East Valley, told KCAL.
