Paul Krekorian to Activate Traffic Signal Near Middle School

Los Angeles City Councilmember Paul Krekorian will join city officials and staff members of a nearby middle school to activate a traffic signal Monday morning in Studio City.

The traffic signal will be turned on at the intersection of Colfax Avenue and Landale Street, between Moorpark Street and Sarah Street [map: http://goo.gl/maps/Dw2xX], during a ceremony that will include the Dept. of Transportation and staff from Walter Reed Middle School.

A California Safe Routes to School Grant financed the new traffic signal, along with two new speed feedback signs and new ADA access ramps around Walter Reed Middle School. The speed feedback signs have already been installed and are located near the school.
