San Fernando Valley Roller Derby Presents: Eggsibition Bout

Celebrate Easter with a side of hip checks and shoulder blocks. The San Fernando Valley (SFV) Roller Derby league (www.sfvrollerderby.com) is the Valley’s first and only flat track women’s and junior roller derby league. Dedicated to providing athletic entertainment to the local community, SFV is proud to be the first roller derby bout hosted by Skateland Northridge.

The intraleague bout will split SFV’s skaters into two competing teams: the Cadbury Cream-Ya’s and the Bully Bunnies. Tickets are $12 at the door, and kids ages 10 and under are free. Doors open at 3:30pm with game whistle blowing at 4pm. In addition to hard-hitting roller derby action, the family-friendly event will feature raffle prizes, an Easter egg hunt, merchandise, food and beverages. This will be SFV’s second roller derby event since launching in 2011.
