Tickets are still available to a charity dinner Friday benefiting Toluca Baseball for kids and teens.
The event is being held at the new Luca's restaurant, a seafood and sushi spot, at 10550 Riverside Dr. in Toluca Lake.
Admission was reduced from $150 to $90 per person.
Luca's chef will be previewing some of the new eatery's dishes:
Choice of One Starter:
Escargot au Pastis, sautéed in herbed butter, wine, fresh spinach served in garlic toasted baguette

Roasted Beet Salad with almond crusted goat cheese, arugula, and orange ginger vinaigrette
Choice of One Entrée:
Braised Short ribs with mushroom puree

Sole en Papillote with clams, mussels, shrimp, fennel, white wine, herbs, slow cooked in parchment paper with sliced ciabetta bread

Roasted Monkfish with lemon butter white wine sauce with roasted artichoke hearts
Plus a selection of Chef Kei's sushi, sashimi and Japanese-style salmon
Toluca Baseball has been active in the area since the 1960s with games played at South and North Weddington Parks.
