Bob's Big Boy Fundraising Friday for Wounded Soldiers

The Toluca Lake staple will donate to Ride 2 Recovery, which helps rehabilitate veterans through cycling.

Bob's Big Boy in Burbank is hosting a fundraiser Friday to benefit Ride 2 Recovery, a nonprofit that works to rehabilitate returning soldiers through cycling.

Fifteen percent of purchases at the restaurant at 4211 Riverside Dr. from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. will go toward buying adapted bikes for wounded returning soldiers, according to the event flier.

The nonprofit organizes bike challenges throughout the year that last between 350-450 miles. Veterans sometimes participate, while funds raised through donations help support spinning recovery labs at military hospitals throughout the nation.
