Krekorian, Volunteers Plant Trees on MLK at Whitsett Slope

LA City Councilman Paul Krekorian and several dozen volunteers chose to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on his holiday by giving life to new trees along the Whitsett Slope hillside.

The strip was cleaned by volunteers in the North Hollywood North West Neighborhood Council District last year, and now, they've added the finishing touches.

How come none of this projects have been in the NOHO arts district? When we could so some cleaning.

Matthew just because we haven't had a big photo op jobs does not mean nothing has been going on. Over the last 3 years we have been targeting public small jobs and private vacant lots. All this in conjunction with full co-operation from Paul's office and various city agencies. Some of it is repeat offenders which can get frustrating at times.

Yes Bob it is good to take care of the dog park which he fished but the cross is still not agreed that Dot is going to put this blink lights in. Will I would like to see more done .
