The Armenian Apostolic Church of North Hollywood its hosting a "Toys for Tots" event on Saturday, but unlike many drives where donations are sought, the church is actually going to be giving away toys, according to Azbarez.com.
Any child between the ages of 3 and 12 that stop by between noon and 2 p.m. at St. Paul Assyrian Chaldean Catholic Church at 13050 Vanowen St. will receive a free gift.
“The Armenian Apostolic Church of North Hollywood decided to host this event to once again emphasize its commitment to the well-being and happiness of all the residents of our community and neighborhood," Board of Trustees Chairwoman Seta Tarpinian told Asbarez.
