Week Ahead: NoHo Neighborhood Council Meets, Jazz at Bob's Espresso and More
Tuesday
Jazz group the Silver Lake Trio will play their free weekly show starting at 8 p.m. at Bob's Espresso Bar. 5251 Lankershim Blvd.
It's open mic night for aspiring and amateur comedians at The Other Door bar from 7-11 p.m. 10437 Burbank Blvd.
NoHo resident and pianist Randy Emata will be performing in the back lounge of the Federal Bar. He specializes in playing the smoother groovier side of jazz/R&B/pop along with Michael Reason on drums and William Matthew Taylor on bass. Show is free and starts at 8 p.m. 5303 Lankershim Blvd.
Wednesday
The Mid-Town North Hollywood Neighborhood Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Senior Citizens Park at North Hollywood Park. The council's website is still down, but the agenda is attached to this story. 5301 Tujunga Blvd.
Thursday
Take a trip back in time with live DJs spinning classic hip hop and R&B tunes at the Federal Bar for Snapback Thrusdays. No cover. $5 well drinks and $2 PBR's.
