<p>The Amelia Earhart Library is named in honor of the famous aviator who lived in nearby Toluca Lake in the years leading up to her disappearance over the Pacific Ocean. A statue in her honor is on display.</p>
<p>The library offers free movies, stories for children, a monthly book club, XBox game days, computer instruction and help with resume writing. It is located on the grounds of the North Hollywood Recreation Center.</p>
