Free Literary Crawl Coming to NoHo

While NoHo recent played host to a few bar crawls aimed at introducing patrons to new styles of beer, an Oct. 23 event will expose attendees to a wide array of new authors and writing styles.

Launched in 2004 and already heavily attended in major cities like San Francisco and New York, the free Lit Crawl will transform a dozen local shops and restaurants from 6-11 p.m. into venues for the spoken word.

Presenters include The New Short Fiction Series, Tongue and Groove, Los Angeles Review of Books, Black Clock magazine, Red Hen Press, The World Stage, among others.

Participating businesses that will feature live readings include The Federal BarPitfire PizzaSkinny’s LoungeRepublic of PieBob’s Espresso BarArt Institute of California-HollywoodHesby Writers CafeBow and Truss.
